    About this boot.

Why is there NO reviews on these boots?
Do these boots run big or small in actual size ? Just about every pair of boots I have owned or tried on will run one or the other. So in ordering these boots online will it be a gamble in not really knowing what size to order to make sure they fit correctly will be a gamble in hopes they fit correctly. I was a lineman for many years and this brand is known for climbing boots probably more so than most other climbing boots. In saying this I would assume that they should be of very high quality or since they are motorcycle boots instead of climbing boots is the process of construction and materials the same or are they of less quality? I have very large ankles & I can not tell if the ankle / upper portion of the boot is
or is not of a slimmer size. So my question is, will they be hard to put on or ok due to the size of the upper part of the boot? I have never mail ordered any boots because of the uncertainty of the fit. If I order & they do not fit or I am not pleased with the quality compared to their price which is not cheap. High would be a more accurate assessment so if they do not work will I have to pay again for the return for a refund or if they do not fit and have to order another size? I want to buy my last pair of motorcycle boots & hopefully these will fit the bill. I will not be wearing them everyday or even once or twice a week so that is why I have said I want to buy my last pair of motorcycle boots. Are these boots of high quality that will last and perform for many years to come if not abused & worn every day? I just wish your retail stores would carry these boots but they do not so I can't go there & make sure of the fit, construction and material grade before purchasing them. How can I get you to start carrying motorcycle boots in your retail stores when they are the largest western boot store I have ever been in. I live just outside of Mesquite Tx. There is a store in Mesquite right beside the mall. Is there any chance of getting the store to get them in so I can try on before purchasing them?

    Answer:
Chippewa is known for its quality, not just in it's climbing boots, but in all their styles. It is one reason we carry their products.

Unfortunately, there is no way to be sure exactly which size would fit without trying the boot on. A good way to approximate is to try on another boot of the same toe and make, as sizes are usually consistent throughout the brand.

We do know, however, that there are sometimes variations in size, etc., that are impossible to predict. We supplement this problem with our generous return policy, which can be reviewed on the customer service portion of our web page.

Also, one of the great things about living so close to one of our stores, is that you may process any returns there, as well as receive hands on expert advice at that time from the Shepler's team!

    Thank you for your question!!

    Are these true to size?

Hello I would like to know the measurements of these boots

Like on the insoles and the outsole

I usually wear a 9.5 in engineer boots I have four pairs and they're all 9.5!

So I would like to know if these are true to size, I thought I read

somewhere Chippewas run a little bigger?? but I can't remember

    Thank You very much!

Even checking the reviews left by others who have tried it is a good indication of fit.
