They sure are shiny & I'm hoping with time & oil, they calm down a bit. They do not leave stains or marks on my socks like the unlined ones does. I ordered wide width and they fit well. i'm curious about the size fitting to me

its written that it's 17 inches.
and is it 17 inches including the heel? and if yes, how tall is the heel by centimeter?

and i'm 5.7 tall
wouldn't it be too long for me to wear?
wouldn't it go over my knee or somethin?

and does the leng of the boots changes slightly depends on the width of the shoes(E,D,EE,DD#?

is it possible for you guys to custom the length of the boots? #making ot taller than 17 or shorter)

I would place 1.5-2 inches for heel, with that stated, according to the description the shaft is actually 17" covering almost 17" on your leg. If you are 5'7" these boots may come up to your knee or over depending on how long your legs are in comparison. I have seen where boots go up higher than the knee, unless you are worried about the length, then these boots may not be a right fit for you. The Chippewa motorcycle boots with the Velcro straps or the black harness boots may be a better length for you.

Only the shaft is 17 inches. You may want to measure you leg to see if you feel the height will work for you. The length will only change very, very slightly depending on the boot size. Unfortunately, we cannot customize the length.
