The turquoise looks great and the hat is very comfortable. It also fits well. After reading the other reviews, it seems like it might be made differently than previous years. March 14, 2013

It's very light, which may be a good thing in the summer, but I felt it should be more consistant for the cost. The straw is coated with a type of stain for the color and the stain doesn't cover every strand of the straw. I feel it's only worth half of what I paid. I'm going to return it for a smaller size only because I do like the brand stamp and turquoise stone design, which, by the way, is only in the front of the hat. Misleading. January 26, 2013

I wore this Tulum hat all day at the Paso Mid State Fair and it was cool and comfortable... got a lot of compliments on the turquoise. Very pretty, and not cheap looking at all like a lot of fake turquoise can. LOVE IT!! August 1, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5�by relcha Good enough for week at Western Resort This hat was described as "crushable" with a metal wire going around to reform it. I would say that , although true, it is not a wire that is very pliable as I had hoped. Other than that, you will get a very nice, attractive - especially the blue turquoise stones in front - cowgirl hat for fun wear. It is not a serious riders' hat (you'd have to pay 3x as much) but it is a great find for the money and with some intensive pulling, my husband and I were able to get it back in shape from my suitcase in order to wear it for the week spent in Montana.
