The item, namely an all wool cattleman's hat was not only exactly as ordered, but was one of the finest made hats I have ever had the pleasure to wear.When I need another I shall definitely be obtaining one from this company.One could not ask for a finer service.

The hat wasn't quite what I expected, although I didnt spend much on it I felt that the materail was to soft and difficult to block into shape. If I had known this I would have ordered ont for a little more cost so that i could block it or one that would hold its shape

Very glad I made this purchase. This is my first Cowboy Hat and really didnt know what to buy. Saw this one and the price and figured I could buy it and it would give me a good gauge on what to expect without me having to put out alot of money. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Good quality, true to sizing (I followed the sizing guidelines and ordered accordingly, and it is a perfect fit). I am very happy with my purchase. Quick shipping. My only complaint has nothing to do with the hat. I ordered another item with the hat, Shepplers never told me that it wasnt shipped, and on the invoice that came it says backordered. No idea if they are going to ship eventually or if I need to buy elsewhere, so very poor communication.

Although I was born in Nevada, I only lived there a few months until my parents decided to move back to Georgia, to be with family. The reason we went to Nevada in the first place was because my dad always wanted to be a "gentleman cowboy," and although this didn't happen, there is something in me that wants to understand his motivation and what he found in Nevada. I'm not interested in casinos or the glit and glamor of cities; I want to see the mountains, sunsets, stars, and get a feel for the life of people in the Western part of the country.
So the first thing I did was plan a trip to Nevada, and I felt drawn to buy a hat. I found Sheplers on the Internet, and found the Cattleman Wool Felt Cowboy hat, which was at a great price.
I have no idea if people in the West wear hats like this one, but I'm willing to find out, and do whatever I can to blend in, so I can truly understand the vibe of the West. I don't want to look foolish, but at least I will wear this hat and see what happens.
In any case, the hat fits me great, and seems very high quality. I would recommend the hat to anyone who wants to wear a Western style, but maybe I'll buy a more expensive hat when I'm among the people of Nevada. I do NOT want to come as a tourist, but as an adventurer, learning what my father seemed to know (he died when I was 6 years old. and now I am 59). I think it's time to have a Western adventure, and the hat was a first step.

At the low price I didn't expect a lot but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hat. Soft, crushable, comfortable, good fit with a clever mini-western belt hat band.
