Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Quality Cowgirl Hat Great looking cowgirl hat either for dress wear, competition or casual wear! However it does run large. I usually wear a large in dress hats but I will have to exchange this one for a medium! But that would be the only negative. nice texture, true black color, and good quality product. As always I will be back to purchase additional western wear and accessories from Shepler's. December 27, 2012

The hat is black. It may be the lighting causing it to be off.
