The Bullhide "Horsing Around" cowboy hat features a 1 1/4" leatherette hat band with a 1" horse head concho ornament and two 3/8" cowboy boot ornaments. The allure of this kids’ hat goes beyond its good looks - Bullhide cowboy hats feature superior finishing, innovative style, and exclusive trimmings. "Horsing Around" cowboy hat features a 4 1/4" cattleman crease hat crown with a 3 1/4" shapeable hat brim. Cloth hat sweatband. To measure a child’s hat size, wrap a tape measure around the head 1/2" above the ears and across the forehead. Compare that measurement to the "sizes in inches" listed below. If you are unsure of head measurement, it is best to order big. If the hat size you purchase is slightly larger than needed, foam hat tape can be inserted under the sweatband to provide a better fit. Sizes in inches: S(20.9"), M(21.3"), L(21.7"), XL(22").

I can fix it in about 30 minutes, but should not have to with a hat this expensive. Otherwise, it's great, though a bit on the heavy side for a two-year-old. May 18, 2013
    Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Fit For Toddler I purchased the hat in hopes it would fit my toddler (granddaughter ) who is 3. It is hard to find hats that fit her and one's she likes. She loves this one and it fits really good. The quality and structure of it is very well made and I feel it will last a long time. The price was excellent as well. I will definitely purchase this brand from Sheplers again! I will also mention the shipment time was fast! Thanks again for the excellent service, keep up the great work! February 27, 2013
    Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not buy Cheap ...falls apart...I bought one, recieved it with the string to (tighten the hat)broken apart from the hat....sheplers sent a replacement and when recieved the same thing happened and worse, the actual seams were coming undone that kept the hat together. no good November 27, 2012

However, within a day one end of the chin strap had come away from the sweatband followed by the other by the end of the week. It appears the ends were only glued down. I requested the foam insert, but it was not sent. product is still viable and will last long enough for him to grow into. July 22, 2011
