These boots are awesome. Very comfortable, perfect size. I thought about buying 1/2 size larger than my actual shoe size, thinking I could wear thicker socks if needed but decided not too. I purchased my exact shoe size and they fit perfectly. I took them with me to NY this past week and wore them while I walked all over NY shopping and sightseeing. My feet never hurt, never got tired, and not one blister. I would definitely buy Old Gringo's again. They are worth the price.
Shepler's service is to be commended as well. Boots arrived timely and in excellent condition.

Amazing boots! I wore them recently to a Art Show and people were more interested in my boots than they were the Art! They truly are a "work of art". My 2nd pair of Old Gringo boots and I have another pair on order. You will not be disappointed!!! Love them!!!!!!!

I wore these right out of the box to work and my feet were pretty darn happy all day long. Not to mention, they're so fun to look at-it really gave me a mental boost all day! They are made of super soft leather, too.
i shopped around and Sheplar's price was the best and the mail service was really fast, too.

Love, love, love these boots. Don't really know what else to say. I am a huge fan of Old Gringo boots to begin with. The only problem is I can't afford to purchase one of each.

These boots are really nice. However they run very big. Do not order up a half size as stated on the site. In fact I recommend ordering down a half size. Companies really need to know their products to avoid customers having to send back items. Its expensive! I have now sent back the boots twice, hopefully the third time will be a charm.

These are cute boots...but I don't think Old Gringo makes boots as well as they used to. My problem is I have about 9 pairs of old gringo boots bought over the last 8-10 years. Initially they were great and all fit the same, then they started getting smaller and now they are even smaller. I'm not sure what is going on since all my old size 9's fit fine. The newer boots I have ordered I frequently order in 9 and 9.5 as either one may fit based upon the style. These Ellie boots are small in 9.5. I think their quality control has gone down a lot over the last 5 years but I still order boots from them because they are still the best looking boots out there. Just sad they didn't keep the excellent quality. Crazy!

The description say if you have a wide foot to order 1/2 size larger, I did and the boots were way too big and I do have a wide foot...so I had to return the boots for my normal size, other than that they were great!

Fabulous boots! They are comfortable right out of the box. Surprisingly soft leather. The craftsmanship is excellent with beautiful, detailed embroidery. Immediate worn in character. I get many compliments every time I wear them. I prefer thick socks with my cowboy boots and these fit perfectly. I highly recommend them to anyone considerting a slurge.
