This is my first pair of cowboy boots. I love them. I ordered my usual size and returned them for a half size smaller.
I have been wearing them to my line dancing lessons and dancing at the club. The leather sole makes dancing great.

I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear. The second time I wore the boots, they were fitting like a glove on my feet!

I needed a new pair of boots that would serve multi-purposes for walking around on the ranch, to wear for fashion, and to dance in...these Vargas Old West boots are perfect for all three!!! I love that they are ALL leather (not just leather uppers like some). The leather sole will be great for the dance floor. I am a true size 8 in every shoe I have bought, but the 7 1/2 fit me perfectly. However, I did end up buying an 8 so I could put a comfort insert since I will be wearing them all day long. I bought the Ariat comfort insert....So comfortable! The leather is rich and supple and the stiching is beautiful. If you want a traditional looking boot, this is the one for you...I really couldn't be happier!!!!
I actually bought these boots at the San Antonio superstore. A sales person by the name of Ashley helped me find the perfect pair of boots for me...so appreciate her kindness and professionalism :)

I absolutely love these boots...This was my first "square toed" boot..and I almost did not get them because of that....but they are so much more comfortable because they have more room and do not cram your toes altogether!
Great for dancing all night :)

I love these boots. They're very well made, sturdy and very stylish. The only issue is with the sizing. I always fit a European women's size 38 which in Australia is size 7.5 - size 8. I ordered the US size 8 (as the sizing chart indicated that this was equivalent to EU size 38) but they were enormous - far too long and wide. I exchanged them for a full size smaller, US size 7, and they fit pretty well and are certainly not tight. Good value for money! And great service from Sheplers!!

I purchased this boots for my daughter for Christmas. They looked very narrow , I had her try them so I could send them back for right size. They fit perfect and the quality is amazing. We are very pleased.
