I LOVED these boots. They were beautiful. Unfortunately they were only available at the time in 8 1/2 (other size would be special order). I thought "how perfect, I wear an 8 1/2," not realizing that these run much bigger than other shoes. I probably needed a 71/2. Womp, womp :(

I got these boots in the mail today and was surprised they are significantly more beautiful out of the box than they are looking at them on the Internet. The threaded accent on the toe and heel area shimmers in the light and looks great.
The fit is fine, and true to size. I ordered my shoe size and the boots fit good. I was looking for something black and subtle, that would go with lots of things... and in that regard these boots area a total win.
The only thing that keeps these boots from being a 5 star for me is that on the right boot where there is a seam between the foot of the boot and upper section it rubs against my ankle and irritates. No problem with the left boot, just the right one. I think this problem will go away as the leather there softens up and flexes, and heavier boot socks would also probably help.
I really love these boots and will be wearing them a lot!
