I am a competitive rodeo cowboy and ride bareback horses, so the type of boot I was seeking had to have a certain toe design, look, feel and heel, so I am extremely selective in choosing my riding boots. These boots were not designed for use in rodeo, so only time will tell how they hold up. These boots met the basic visual and design qualifications for which I sought after. I experienced a substantial delay in shipping? Ordered boots on 7/19/12 and received on 8/15/12. Aside from the unusual and substantial delay in shipping, the boots are well worth the money. I am a boot connoisseur and have many boots in my closet for different needs. I don't normally purchase inexpensive boots (boots less than $200) for any reason except for work boots. With that being said, I was surprised at the quality and workmanship of the pair I received. The boots are extremely soft leather and comfortable. I will not be able to provide a truly reliable review as I haven't put the boots through any type of test/use yet but they appear to be exactly what I was looking for and were extremely affordable. Based upon long term wear and the results, I will have a better recommendation in the future. However, one thing is for sure and that is that if you plan on using these boots in an rough environment, the leather may not hold up as it is extremely soft. So, they may cut easily or show damage? I won't know until I put them to test. I highly recommend them to anyone who may use them for dress, dance or any other reason. For the money, i don't believe you will find better boots. Mine are only new but they look like they will hold up to days on the hill [cricket]nights on the stands[football.AFL]and Sunday down under[pub] June 16, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5�by stum Nice boots but wrong size Nice boots but I ordered a size 10d as i had previously bought a similar pair but size 9.5d and they were too tight so dont know if my feet have possibly shrunk. Sheplers is my favorite shop but as i stay in scotland it was not worth returning them. February 3, 2010
