I needed a black belt that was made of real leather and did not have a plastic feeling. I am very impressed as it is also a soft feeling belt as well and very comfortable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it is showing some minor wear on the edge where it buckles after only a week. It is still very nice and I still think it will last a long time as it is not my primary belt. I would love to have this in brown but it is not available in my size. Hopefully it will be in the future

Great belt value. The fit is just right. My only problem was that I ordered the black and was sent brown!! Ooops

Finding I gained a few pounds and my old belt had seen its better days I tried to find a nice wide leather belt. I found that this was not an easy task. I remembered Sheplers from my dancing days and all the fine clothes I had purchased from them. I looked on line and shure enough I[...] I am really pleased!

Qty 2 ordered - 1 for every day use, 1 for more dressy occasions. I wanted a plain black belt with a bit of shine and some edge stitching, no multiple colors or fancy stuff. I plan to switch buckles and use larger oval shaped rodeo style buckles - again a bit more dressy. Both belts arrived with flaws. 1st belt had a small (1/4") razor like cut underneath the belt loop. Since the cut was small and not in a visible or high flex area I kept the belt. The 2nd belt had a crack across the entire width of the belt between the buckle holes-very visible and would not last long. I returned this belt for an exchange of the same product. [...] Then a credit showed up on my credit card for the belt. I called Sheplers and explained the problem and they reordered it for me. This 2nd order was recvd promptly and the belt quality was fine. Still think Sheplers is great but would like to see a little more inspection of product before shipment.
