I have worn these boots for years for working. I always have 1-2 new pair lurking in my closet so that when a pair wears out, I have another ready to go instantly. They have the amazing ability to feel comfortable with the first wearing--they'll be snug, of course, but how many boots can you say feel broken-in comfortable when you first put them on? And with the distressed leather, they stay good looking for casual wear as long as you maintain the leather as you would with any boot. As long as I can buy these boots, I'll be an Ariat-only fan.

This boot runs a little tight on me, but given a little break-in time it loosen somewhat. Choosing a larger 1/2 size doesn't help much since that increase becomes too large and cumbersome for my foot. Sigh, oh well life's choices are sometimes limited. Nevertheless, it's a good looking boot for my tastes and does not scream out 'look at me, I'm wearing cowboy boots.' This style is rather plain and functional in black or tan (have both) with a simple pattern and good lines. The elevated 'saddle' heels give me a slight height advantage and best of all a touch of swagger that street shoes will never have. Why else, after all, do we wear cowboy boots?

Boots arrived with scuffed toe on left boot. Not a problem because I'm gonna scuff them up anyway. Very, very hard to remove boots if you have a high instep as I do. Had them about two weeks and the left started sqeaking every step I take. Very annoying but they feel great. Would like to know if Sheplers knows anything that can be done to stop the sqeak. Take away the sqeak, the scuff, and the hard to get off stuff and they're a good boot!

This time I had a personal problem and had to reschedule the delivery from UPS as I was called out of town unexpectedly. That's when I found out that Shepler's customer service cannot be beat. Those folks are the best. So not only do you get great boots but you get great customer service too!

I am very pleased with this product, they receive alot of wear and tear and hold up super well for many years, this is the second pair I've bought in ten years. Absolutely love them very comfortable and easy maintenance. Shipping was awesome received in two days. I highly recommend these boots.

this really is a great looking boot, nicely made, strong but soft leather, ....
but, if you have a high instep as i do, choose a size bigger than you normally buy. i'm slowly wearing these boots in but its taking a lot of work to get them on - had to use copious amounts of my kids foam bath to get them on the first few times. getting better now, but its been a squishy squashy way to do it. I get the feeling though that if I can get them to stretch, they'll feel great. The interior of the shoe is very comfortable, once on. I chose a 7.5 size, but should have gone for an 8.
