Rated 4 out of 5 by Beats my Timberland work boots for recreational wear I am a 6 1/2 medium and MAYBE should have tried these in a 6. Heel and front a tad loose but not uncomfortably loose. Will wear better with winter weight socks. Bought these ankle boots to replace my Timberland work boots for when I need a sturdy boot but not for heavy duty activities. I am using them for commute to and from office, and for weekend yard and recreational activities. They are comfortable and zipper makes on and off easier than laces. Looking forward to wearing these when the temperature and weather get crazy cold and miserable. The ZIPPER makes a pleasant click-click noise when you walk. I think these are handsome boots but because they make your feet appear bigger I would not recommend pairing these with a pants suit for office attire. October 7, 2013
