    The Ariat boot that’ll have you sold on Ariat! The Heritage roper boot features Ariat ATS comfort technology. Ariat exclusive ATS technology supports and cushions as you move, promoting good posture and reducing fatigue. At the core of ATS technology is the Ariat ATS composite shank. This patented shank design reduces skeletal and muscular fatigue and injury. Mid-foot support reduces metatarsal stress. The forked shank design allows natural forefoot flex. The ATS footbed has a low-friction surface to protect from heat build-up and blistering. Shock-absorbing gel forefoot cushion reduces skeletal impact stress on knees, hips, and lower back. Cupped footbed chassis offers torsional stability. This Ariat Heritage roper boot features a timber leather foot under a chain stitched 10" matching leather shaft. Low comfort 1 1/4" block heel. Roomy round roper toe. Single stitched 3/4 welt.

Wasn't satisfied with the Laredo, felt cheep quality. But these Ariats are champion. Extremely comfortable, great materials, well made. December 27, 2012

    I'm inexperienced horesback riding and was told I need smooth soled boots for horseback riding. I see these boots are not smooth soled and am wondering if they would work for horseback riding?

    The Ariat Sierra work boots have a tread design that works well with my endurance saddle equipped with ez-ride trail stirrups. While not totally smooth, the tread is not deep enough to interfere with ingress/egress of the stirrup. I think they would also work fine with English irons as well - they are that resilient. I love them.

    Well, pretty much any boot you WANT to work for ridin WILL work for ridin. But id suggest Justin Q-Crepes theyre made in America!

    Also US boot sizes differ to AUS sizes.What is the best way to get the right fit ,I take a size 9 AUS,
