These jeans are looser in the leg area than I expected. The label on them says "lower rise - straight leg - relaxed thru waist, thigh & knee". I was thinking Athletic fit meant it was more fitted. The waist seems to run one size bigger also.

I like the fit and the color. I was worried at first because I've never bought jeans online and was afraid they wouldn't fit. I was greatly relived that they fit just fine. Looking forward to my next purchase.

Great jeans well made. But they are a size bigger than Wranglers.
i.e I wear Wranglers size 35 inch. with these jeans you need either 34 or 33 inch.
Well made jeans look great. Gave them away as a present.
will buy smaller size.

Great jeans wish you would make a 32x30. Had to order 32x32 which were long but overall great jeans.

I've enjoyed them thus far, but I have to tighten the belt down to keep them sitting right. Nice color, solid construction. Really, the waist is the only fix needed.

I received my Ariat Swagger M3 Athletic Fit Straight Leg Jeans and found that the style was nice. The material felt thick and durable and I thought they may be stiff but I found them to be soft and comfortable. The quality I feel rates a little better than some of the brand name jeans I have worn in the past. I am pleased with the look, comfort and quality of these jeans. I would purchase these jeans in the future.

These jeans are like none I have ever owned in terms of detail; which I would normally associate with women's styles, like the red zipper lining, the pocket lining being a print rather than plain white and the leather accents on the back belt loops. Might be too fancy for some cowboys who like regular Wranglers. I normally buy classic Wranglers and the waist on the Ariats is much looser. So, if you buy Wranglers and they are already loose, you should go down one size on the waist. Inseam is normal. These would be good for guys who have very beefy legs, like weightlifters, footballers and such, as they are generously cut.
They have a distressed look because they are apparently scrunched before the dye is set. Mine look like they are permanently wrinkly, which is "a look." These are instantly comfortable, but as I stated, loose, so you might need your belt to keep 'em up. I think anyone considering buying them should see them first, but overall, these are an interesting addition to the jeans market; craftsmanship is good in terms of seams and such. Nice job, Ariat! I can't comment on durability yet. Because prices haven't been posted, I'm not sure where it falls on the price spectrum. If equal to Wranglers, then they are a great deal!

I was a little hesitant to wear jeans received via mail because I didn't know how they would fit. I can definitely say I would get another pair.
