I bought a pair over a year ago (I know, finally getting around to writing a review) and they're still like new. They are a bit heavy but I like that. Great protect from stones and whatever else has hit me in the ankle/foot. And I've ridden in a number of heavy downpours and my feet have never gotten wet. I do put a coat of polish on them periodically to keep them looking good and it probably helps to keep them waterproof. The "lip" on the sole really works well keeping my feet on the highway pegs.
It would be useful to have a bootstrap for the heel but once the boots are broken in, they go on relatively easy.
If you're looking for a good looking biker boot that will protect your ankles and feet AND keep you dry, these are the ones.

They take a little break in time, but are great when you do. I would prefer not to have a zipper on the upper. They have good support and good looks. They are much more comfortable than the last two pair of riding boots i have owned. This is my 2nd pair of Ariats and love them both

When I went searching for reviews on these boots, all I could find were positive comments... Now I know why. Great boots. Warm in the cold, cool in the heat. Tough, durable, comfortable. I love Ariats anyway and these are no exception. Buy 'em.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Keeprubbersidedown Excellent boots. The size is a bit snug at first, but after I wore them twice, they fit perfectly. These boots are very comfortable but a bit heavy. Overall, they are high quality boots that I expect will last for many years..

I'm very pleased with this purchase. These boots are excellent in fit and comfort, though they'll be even better once the leather is broken in. They're good for walking, great for riding with floorboards or pegs. They're bulky and heavier than my old touring boots which they've replaced, but they seem well constructed of quality materials. Time will tell.

Shipping was extremely fast - was expecting them in a week and it took only a few days. These boots are sized just right for me. I have narrow feet (C width) and could never find anything at the Harley store that fit - Thank God! These boots are far superior to anything I tried on there - and cost less. Obviously heavier and better built. No complaints - just understand you need over the calf socks to mitigate rubbing from the inner flap behind the zippers.

My only problem was trying to define the difference between US and Euro
sizes. Having looked at various size charts the eventual size I ordered was far too small for my foot. A real pity because the quality of the boot I received was second to none. As I couldn't go on ordering a size that might fit, what with post and import duty at my end, I decided to return the product and requested a refund. This was honoured without delay. Thank you Sheplers.

I have been looking for boots for a long time and with the EE sizing I thought I had found them. I returned the boots because they did not fit like a EE, still too narrow across the instep. Too bad, they looked to be exactly what I wanted.

When zippered up there is a gather of material that rubs on the leg, fine boots otherwise. Boot upper is large & needs wider pantleg to cover it better. This is my 4th style of boot from Ariat and I've been happy with them all.
