This patented shank design reduces skeletal and muscular fatigue and injury. Mid-foot support reduces metatarsal stress. The forked shank design allows natural forefoot flex. The ATS footbed has a low-friction surface to protect from heat build-up and blistering. Shock-absorbing gel forefoot cushion reduces skeletal impact stress on knees, hips, and lower back.     Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boot To be able to wear a new work boot for 9 hours on the first day without issues is well worth having. I have a wide foot and great difficulty in getting boots to fit. This is the third boot of this make and design I have used over 5 years. November 10, 2011
