my boots arrived and considering the distance between us they arrived in good time. i was a bit concerned about ordering boots online especially as it was unlikely i could send them back due to shipping costs. i needn't have worried. they fit like they were made for me. i would say they are a bit larger than the size that they are meant to be but really its not a problem. they look too good to wear to work! i have a foot condition- plantar fasciitus . these boots help no end and will ease my work day .yes i would recommend these boots. thank you sheplers.

I live in Canada and CowBoy Boots are hard to get. I took a chance and ordered these boots . The order and delivery went smoothly and shortly I received my boots. The fit was perfect and they're soooo comfortable. Thanks to Sheplers I have these quality Abilene Boots!! MM

These are absolutely the coolest workboots ever!
Very stylish, comfortable, and lightweight.
Nice suede finish, and nicely detailed.

The only downfall of this product is the padding on the heal. This is my second pair and I have to buy insoles to add padding. The small one that comes with it does not last and the nails comes right threw it. Abilene should look into this to correct it. Besides that, I love them.

I just received my third pair. The first pair was intended to be a trial for work, (steel toes mandatory). Liked them enough I bought a second pair for the bike, great traction on slick roads. Wore the first pair out after about 14 months & had them resoled. My work enviornment has chemicals & petroleum products that will stain & lose any waterproofing system available to man. So, with winter coming. I ordered my third pair. Great lightweight goodlooking boots. I ordered 1/2 size bigger to accomadate for heavy wool socks.

I really like the finish on these boots, and the steel toes are almost invisible. I could wear these boots out to eat with my wife they look so good. I wear them on site all the time, and they are as comfortable as any steel toes I've ever owned, and much better than most. I have not had them long enough to know how durable they will be, but I like the sole design. I believe they will last a long time.

Finally a cowboy heal, work boot that is leather with a rubber cleted sole. I rubbed in some mink oil and these puppies are comfortable and truly all-weather boots.
